Lake Elmo Kills No Wake-Erosion Study

At its first meeting of 2017, the Lake Elmo city council voted unanimously to cancel a no wake-erosion study of the shorelines of the city’s major lakes.  The study, which could have cost up to $41,500 and was approved by a 3-2 vote (Mayor Pearson and council member Bloyer dissenting) on December 6, was brought back to the council for “further direction” by the city administrator.
