At its March 21 meeting, the city council gave direction to staff that the city should no longer be affiliated with the Lake Elmo Farmers Market. And the city will no longer provide liability insurance for the market, due in part to the city’s liability insurance deductible being increased to $200,000. Mayor Pearson expressed support: “I hope that whatever happens at this meeting, you continue your efforts”.
